Venkata KOKA is an ENT and sleep medicine specialist working as a consultant in sleep medicine in Paris, France. He obtained diplomas in Sleep Medicine from Paris XI University, ESRS (certified expert somnologist), and WSS (International certification in Sleep Medicine). He worked as a consultant in sleep medicine at Antoine Beclere Hospital, Paris - Saclay University, France. He is involved in academics, teaching, and research activities in sleep medicine and physiology. He is also an international speaker in sleep medicine during various courses and workshops. In addition, he is an editor in various reputed journals in sleep medicine. He identified the first clinical sign, ‘The EK sign’ in OSA, and published it in 2015 and a longitudinal study on the EK sign in 2017. He is involved in various international multi-institutional studies in developing new diagnostic tools. He strongly advocates endotype-targeted treatment in a multi-modality approach in OSA in precision model medicine.
